About the Card
The initiation phase of the hero's journey is the time when the hero enters the Special World. This is where the true transformation begins. The hero will be tested in many ways, and often must overcome great obstacles in order to continue on their journey. They will be faced with challenges that force them to confront their fears and doubts, and to develop new skills and abilities in order to succeed.
This phase is often the most difficult, but it is also the most rewarding. The hero will face trials that will test their resolve, but they will also gain new insight and wisdom along the way. This is a time of self-discovery and growth, and the hero will emerge from this phase stronger, wiser, and more capable than they were before.
